Meet Sarah
Dedication to Community: Sarah Arndt's dedication to serving on the City Council stems from her unwavering commitment to fostering a thriving community and her belief in her ability to make a significant impact on Woodinville. She has been a Councilmember since January 2022.

Thoughtful and Sustainable Growth: As Woodinville continues to grow, Sarah is determined to ensure that this growth is managed thoughtfully and sustainably. She believes in balancing development with the preservation of our community's unique character and natural beauty.

Collaborative Leadership: Sarah will continue to build collaborative relationships with fellow councilmembers and work tirelessly to ensure that the city government remains transparent and responsive to the needs of all residents and small businesses. She is dedicated to fostering open communication and engaging with the community to address their concerns and aspirations.

Background and Experience: Sarah brings a diverse and rich background to her role on the City Council. She has served as the former chair of the City's Public Spaces Commission and has a background as a teacher, historian, and non-profit program administrator. She holds a Masters and Ph.D. in History from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Teaching from Western Illinois University.

Community Involvement: Sarah has been an active member of the Woodinville community since moving here in 2014. She is a past board member for Woodinville Toddler Group, a current board member for CommonHouse Vineyard Church, and a volunteer with the NSD PACE program.
​
Personal Life: Sarah is married and has two children. Her experiences as a parent and community member further fuel her dedication to making Woodinville a wonderful place for all families.
